Minutes of the Special Council Meeting

April 26, 2006

City Hall Annex Building, 186 Branham Way

Mayor Sullivan called the meeting to order at 12:20pm with the following Council members present:  Joetta Calhoun, Lloyd Dooley, Sid Griffin, Ed Hilbert, Ralph Lutes and Larry Porter. 

Also present were City Clerk Christi Franklin, City Treasurer Peggy Brinkman, Utility Superintendent Ronnie Fick, Police Chief Rodney Hockenbury and City Attorney Jim Winchell. 

The Council discussed the proposed draft of the City annual budget for the 2006/2007 fiscal year.  Each budget line item and all proposed capital expenditures were reviewed in depth.

Christi Franklin will make the changes directed by the Council and prepare a compensation comparison.

The meeting adjourned at 2:20pm.
