·        New commercial construction or commercial additions shall be assessed a permit fee at the following rate:

ü      New construction or remodeling of an existing structure having 0-2,000 square feet shall be assessed a minimum permit fee of one hundred dollars (100.00).

ü      New construction or remodeling of an existing structure having 2,001- 300,000 square feet shall be assessed a minimum permit fee of $.05 per square foot not to exceed fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00).

ü      New construction or remodeling of an existing structure having 300,001 + square feet shall be assessed a minimum permit fee of $.04 per square foot for every square foot over 300,000 plus a fee of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000.00).

ü      Remodeling or additions shall be measured as the area being remodeled or added and not the entire building.
