Ordinance
BMP Development, LLC (2006Z-48)
The Council held second reading of an ordinance to accept or reject the recommendation of the Bullitt County Joint Planning Commission to re-zone 58.739 acres, more or less, known as the BMP Development, LLC property (Docket No. 2006Z-48) accessed through an easement, also known as Goodlett-Kilner Court, located at the intersection of Woodland Pass and Winding Woods Trail in the Wildwood subdivision from Agricultural to R-1. Jim Winchell discussed the options available to the Council and read the specific findings proposed by Keith Brown. The Council discussed the re-zoning request and Mr. Brown answered questions from the City Council. Barry Armstrong made a motion to accept the recommendation of the Bullitt County Joint Planning Commission to re-zone 58.739 acres, more or less, known as the BMP Development, LLC property (Docket No. 2006Z-48) with the stipulation that the deed restrictions for the Wildwoods subdivision be adopted for the BMP Development, LLC property. Emily Rucker seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.
Brent Wheeler made a motion to adopt the following specific findings as presented by Keith Brown due to the size reduction of the re-zoning: The re-zoning of a smaller area than originally applied for before the Bullitt County Joint Planning and Zoning Commission is being approved by this ordinance because the reclassification of the smaller area is supported by the evidence and/or record and such smaller area is accurately delineated in the record. The re-zoning or the smaller area is at the request of the applicant and is made pursuant to Section 8.400 of the Bullitt County/City Zoning Regulations and any other applicable law. Gary Lawson seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.
Adjourn
Greg Gentry made a motion to adjourn at 4:16pm. Emily Rucker seconded the motion. Motion carried.
