Minutes of the Special Council Meeting

July 14, 2004

City Hall Annex Building, 186 Branham Way

Mayor Sullivan called the meeting to order at 10:30am with the following Council members present:  Sam Beichler, Joetta Calhoun, Sid Griffin, Lloyd Dooley and Larry Porter.  Larry Porter made a motion to open the meeting at 10:30am.  Sid Griffin seconded the motion.  Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.   

Also present were City Clerk Christi Franklin and City Treasurer Peggy Brinkman.    

Audit Bids

The Council discussed the audit bids.  Sid Griffin made a motion to award the audit to Carpenter, Mountjoy & Bressler.  Lloyd Dooley seconded the motion.  Motion failed by a vote of 2 to 3 as follows:

Sid Griffin made a motion to award the audit to Robert C. Ryan, CPA.  Joetta Calhoun seconded the motion.  Motion passed by a vote of 3 to 2 as follows:

Adjourn

Sid Griffin made a motion to adjourn at 10:48am.  Larry Porter seconded the motion.  Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.
