Minutes of the Special Meeting

June 24, 2003

City Hall Annex Building, 186 Branham Way

The meeting was called to order at 12:33 p.m. with the following Council members present: Joetta Calhoun, Lloyd Dooley, Sid Griffin and Larry Porter.

Also present were City Clerk Christi Franklin, Utility Superintendent Ronnie Fick, City Attorney Rodney Burress, and Gene Stinchcomb from the Kentucky League of Cities.

Larry Porter gave the invocation.                                                     

Larry Porter made a motion to appoint Sid Griffin as presiding officer at the meeting due to the absence of the Mayor.  Sid Griffin seconded the motion.  Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.

The Council held general discussion of the City’s current pay scale and alternatives to revise this plan in the future.

Joetta Calhoun made a motion to adjourn at 1:40pm.  Larry Porter seconded the motion.  Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.
