Minutes of the Special Council Meeting

May 4, 2005

City Hall Annex Building, 186 Branham Way

Mayor Sullivan called the meeting to order at 12:20pm with the following Council members present:  Joetta Calhoun, Lloyd Dooley, Sid Griffin, Ed Hilbert, Ralph Lutes and Larry Porter.  Ed Hilbert left at 2:00pm and Ralph Lutes left at 3:10pm.

Also present were City Clerk Christi Franklin, City Treasurer Peggy Brinkman, Utility Superintendent Ronnie Fick, Parks Co-Director Terry Sollberger, Police Chief Rodney Hockenbury and City Attorney Jim Winchell. 

The Council discussed the proposed draft of the City annual budget for the 2005/2006 fiscal year.  Each budget line item and all proposed capital expenditures were reviewed in depth.

Christi Franklin will make the changes directed by the Council. 

Larry Porter made a motion to adjourn at 3:21pm.  Sid Griffin seconded the motion.  Motion passed unanimously by a roll call vote.
