Officers have completed the 2005-2006 Governor’s Highway Safety Grant. We are again awarded the grant for October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007. After mandatory training meetings in regards to the grant are completed, officers will go back to the streets with the Federal Grant Overtime funds to increase DUI arrest and reduce the number of alcohol-related crashes. Also to increase safety belt usage.
